
Pat McClellan, a beginner obedience assistant is the owner of 7 dogs, four of
which are
Pat and her beagle Molly have achieved national ranking twice. The first time
Agility in 1998 and the second time in 2003, Molly has become one of the top
five obedience beagles. Rosie, a
rescue Ridgeback, attended the 2003 Rhodesian
Ridgeback National Specialty with Pat. The team of Pat and Rosie came home with
a First Place ribbon and Trophy in AKC Agility, Open Jumpers with Weaves.
Snickers, Pat’s youngest beagle, has become a very consistent agility
competitor. She holds the highest level Agility title in the McClellan
household. Seven, a Rhodesian Ridgeback is the newest addition to the McClellan
pack. Seven currently holds two titles, OA and OAJ.
In addition to performance, Pat, Snickers, Molly and Apricot, a Miniature
Poodle, are
active in the Community. They are members of Happy Tails, a
volunteer Pet Therapy group who visit nursing homes, hospitals and hospices and
share the joy of interacting with a dog with the patients.
Pat is also active in the performance
community. She was President of the 4 Paw Performance Club of North
Georgia for 3 years and is currently Treasurer. During her Presidency, Pat insured that the club was
accepted and approved by the AKC to hold Agility Trials.
